Hummus

This hummus is simple, quick and pretty healthy! Try it as a dip for a snack or spread it on bread for a sandwich.

Hummus

Source (adapted): The Toby Show

1 15 oz can of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup organic tahini (roasted not raw)
Juice and zest from 1 lemon
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp sea salt
1-2 Tbsp olive oil
2/3 cup water
1/8 teaspoon cumin (add more if you like)
1/8 teaspoon paprika (add more if you like)

  1. Add the tahini, the lemon juice and the lemon zest to a food processor and blend until smooth.

  2. Add the garlic, salt, cumin and paprika, water and olive oil and blend it again.

  3. Add the chickpeas and blend until it's completely smooth.
